Monitor Refresh Rate Math: 144Hz vs 240Hz Is Only 2.8ms
Convert refresh rate to time and 60Hz is 16.7ms, 144Hz is 6.9ms, 240Hz is 4.2ms. Going from 60 to 144 buys 9.7ms; going from 144 to 240 buys just 2.8ms. The same point is where cable bandwidth starts to bite.
